CDF’s 4th Annual Dance & Choreography Fellowship Showcase

 

Experience the culmination of CDF’s 4th Annual Dance & Choreography Fellowship Program — a pay~what~you~can performance directed by Lillian Barbeito, featuring new works created under the mentorship of acclaimed New York City–based choreographer Sidra Bell. This inspiring evening highlights three emerging choreographers — Leandro Damasco Jr., Rachel Harris, and Hassan Syed — whose distinctive voices represent the next generation of dance artistry.

 

This year’s Showcase also includes a performance by Ballare Carmel and a special appearance by Edd Arnold of Tanztheater Wuppertal. Arnold will perform, choreograph the finale work on the Fellows, and share his award-winning dance film By The Sea. Following the performance, join us for a brief Q&A and post~show reception with the artists (Sat night only) — an opportunity to meet the Fellows, hear about their creative process, and celebrate their accomplishments with the Carmel Dance Festival community.

Your donation directly helps cover essential production costs, including:

Suggested Donation

General admission is pay~what~you~can, with a suggested donation of $40 or more.
Your support ensures we can continue offering fully funded opportunities to young artists — and produce world-class performances for our community.

VIP tickets are $100 and include reserved seating in the best seats in the house, plus recognition in our keepsake program.

Online ticket sales close two hours before each performance. Tickets may also be purchased at the door, subject to availability. Box office will accept cash, check, credit card, Venmo, and PayPal.
